A New York City Soul Journey with Natalie Zaman
Something new from SoulJourney --- A Soul Journey! Join us
for Magical Meet-ups in different locations: some nearer, some further
afield with authors, artists, priests, and priestesses as our special
guides!
Join us for a Magical Meet-up in ... New York City on Sunday, June 11,
2017 at 11.00am, rain or shine!
We will meet at the 79th Street entrance to Central Park at 79th St. and
5th Ave. at 11.00am and will set out promptly at 11.15am. A great
day of fun and information, all for $40.00.
Take the George Washington Bridge across and then follow Rte. 9A South
to the 79th St. Boat Basin, cut across NYC on 75th St., make a Left onto
Amsterdam Ave., Right onto 81st St, and then cut across Central Park,
parking is available at the Museum of Natural History. Or you can
take the C train from the Port Authority uptown to 72nd St. (4 stops)
and walk across Central Park to our meeting spot. Alternative is
from Penn Station, take the M4 bus to Madison and 79th St. and walk one
block.
Discover Ancient Egypt on the Hudson, the Big Apple's secret Italian
Luck Charm (it's NOT in Little Italy), ancient symbols, sacred spots,
and, of course, fantastic beasts! Magical Destinations of the
Northeast author Natalie Zaman will take us on a walking tour to
discover some of the enchantments of the Upper East Side.
We will be covering about 4.5 miles of city streets and park lands at a
leisurely pace. Our walk should be approximately 2-2.5 hours, but
may be a little longer or shorter depending on pace, attendance,
weather, and how crowded the city is. We'll be stopping at a
minimum of five sites and do a little story-telling and subtle ritual.
Materials and instructions are provided.
Our last stop will be at Alice's Tea Cup (156 East 64th St.) for
afternoon tea. This part of the day is optional and not included
in the price of the tour.
Details are subject to change based on attendance. We will require
a minimum of 5 attendees and a maximum of 10. You are responsible
for your own transportation to and from NYC. Please plan for extra
time to arrive as we cannot wait more than the above-mentioned 15
minutes. Remember that we will be walking outside so please dress
for the weather, wear comfy shoes, remember the sunscreen, and
definitely water so you stay hydrated.
And stay tuned for our next field trip in September/October 2017!
