WELCOME TO THE THIRD ANNUAL
NORTHEASTERN DEAF DOGS PICNIC
SUNDAY, JUNE 30, 2002
HAWTHORNE, NJ
The weather was warm and bright and sunny -
a
beautiful day for a gathering!
This Picnic is dedicated to Woof,
Grande Dame/Deaf Dog extraordinaire,
crossed to The Rainbow Bridge July 16, 2002.

The day started off with Kismet allowing this
little Dal boy
to lead her around by the nose, ...err... leash!
Hey, give a Dal a loose leash and he'll pick it up!

From the left, we have Sally Stewart, Leah Rose, her Stewart (the most undeaf
looking dog any of us have ever seen), Orion's rear, Monica Mansfield (in front)
with Gwydion from Michigan, then Amy Hershberger in the rear, some man, some
boy, and Monica's Zephyr.

From the left, Orion's rear end (I see a trend here!), Monica Mansfield,
Kelsey's end (I think), Connie (who'd posted a deaf Dal on the list for
adoption), JB, Jennifer Laus, and Melissa Brill.

Okay, we've got Amy Hershberger's side, someone's
legs, a visiting boy, Saga, Zephyr relaxing, Kelsey, Riley (Melissa's niece),
some visiting guy, Connie, and Monica.

From the left again, Zephyr's rear (?), Tracey (from
the Atlas), a spotted wonder (have no idea which one), Pinky, Melissa, Gwen in the
front, Gwydion behind her, Sally sitting down, Kelsey, Willet and a visitor.

Jennifer, Melissa, Sandi (finally, sort of a picture of me!),
Stephanie (who's local and does Chow rescue), someone visiting, and Tracey.
As for dogs, we've got Gwydion in the front, JB behind him, Nina, Pinky lying
down, and Gwen's hidden.

Melissa with her niece Riley and JB standing guard.
