Celtic Spirituality Lecture with Patricia Monaghan

Who were the Celts? What do these ancient European people have to
teach us today? Scholar and author Patricia Monaghan introduces the
mystical folkways of the Celtic tribes and shows how they survive today in
Ireland and other lands. This illustrated lecture offers a view into an
ancient but still-living tradition. Patricia will describe the "fairy
faith" that connects Ireland to its ancient traditions and will take listeners
on a guided tour of the various parts of the island and their sacred sites.
Whether you have any Irish blood or not - and on St. Patrick's Day everyone's "a
little bit Irish" - you'll find inspiration in this program.

An Irish citizen and frequent traveler to Ireland and Scotland, Patricia
Monaghan is the author of more than 20 books, including several on Celtic
subjects: The Encyclopedia of Celtic Myth and Legend, Irish Spirit, and
Red-Haired Girl From the Bog. She is also the author of Goddess
Path and Goddess Companion, Meditation: The Complete Guide, Seasons of
the Witch, Goddesses in World Culture, and the upcoming Magical Gardens:
Cultivating Soil and Spirit. Please visit her at
