Divination with Amy Blackthorn Rev. Amy Blackthorn has been working with her spirit guides as a professional intuitive since 1999 and has developed her own personal style when it comes to reading.  She uses two or more decks during a single reading, mixing traditional tarot and oracle decks and seamlessly blending them into a single narrative for her clients.  Amy's multiple strand technique easily illustrates important themes in the lives of her clients due to these multiple decks displaying cartds for emphasis in a reading.  The reading starts with a 14-card spread and discusses past, current, and future influences surrounding the client and helps to develop an action plan to face any adversity head-on.  Amy works with her guides to answer additional questions that pop up during readings.  More cards are added to the spread as new issues arise and questions are answered. Making Magical Oils This offering from Rev. Amy Blackthorn, author of Blackthorn's Botanical Magic, shows how the energies of each carrier oil effect the magic in each magical oil they are added to and how it can enhance the oil being created.  We will discuss creating anointing oils for individual uses, large group gatherings, as well as pros and cons of both.  The shelf life of all oils will be provided as those are a serious consideration for the wallet as well as ritual applications.  Home testing for quality control as well as Myths of Essential Oils will be discussed.  Suppliers will be provided as well.  Anyone of any faith can use these techniques to further their goals.  Basics of essential oils are explained, and no prior knowledge of herbs is required.  At the end of the class you will make a meditation oil to take home.  Cost includes materials fee.
